In recent years I have been doing more creative writing, primarily poetry, and much of it sociological in nature, tone, or content. I perform semi-regularly at poetry and spoken word events, locally in San Marcos, TX.

My goal is to help other people develop their own poetic voices by working collaboratively with other poets and building a community of supportive peers, and through more formal and intentional creative writing instruction in a few group settings, primarily as an instrumental activity for therapeutic healing and trauma recovery, as well as the general processing of literally any emotion, observation, or state of being.

The guiding principle of my creative writing is to speak or be spoken for.
